    Seems to me this is definitely not for you. I understand that paying for positive performance once they get above NAV is a unusual, but in reality for this kind of fund it is actually not. Frequently they will use cash or 90 day bills as a benchmark. Quibbling over little numbers.

    Pure and simple. If they perform, they get paid. If they don't, they get fired.
    You also have a choice. You bought into a fund in the knowledge that if they performed you had to pay for it.
    Once again, if you don't want to pay for performance, buy an ETF. I think VAS only charges about 0.10%.
