My avg GPT price is about 63c or so... the big tranches being @ $1.40, then @ 0.60, then a @ 0.35, a few other small tranches here and there.

So Im about 20% down at the moment.

I have however held for about 1 year or so, and in that time I have received a yield of about 10% .. maybe 11%

Therefore, by my calculations I am currently down about 10% overall on my GPT ride.

Ken, I have to say though, that given the messy ride, I am now optimistic that the company must be healthier than ever - after receiving 3.2b of "free" money (read: non interest bearing) and guarnateeing itself the time to hold or sell assets as it chooses.

I will have held for 12 months in July 09 ... I remain optimistic for a 25% return over 12-18 months period - for me I expect to see 70c / unit by August-Sep and moving towards the 80s by year end.

If that expectation is met, then my goals will have been achieved - although again, I iterate that the ride has simply sucked.
