    Questions over coal seam in the Pilliga

    Do mining and petroleum companies have a responsibility to put the full extent of their long term plans on the table?
    The Northern Inland Council for the Environment says it has been reviewing some maps and crunching some numbers.
    It says Eastern Star Gas has a project application before the Federal Government for 1,100 coal seam gas wells in the Pilliga.
    But after reviewing Department of Minerals maps for coal seam gas in the company's petroleum exploration title, it believes ESG could expand its plan to 7,100 wells.
    Now the group wants ESG to reveal the full extent of its plans for the Pilliga Scrub.
    Carmel Flint is a spokeswoman for the council and we spoke to her on the Morning Show:
