Push for NT gas pipeline through Mount Isa showing 'encouraging signs' says Qld Mines Minster.

Minister Anthony Lynham said he was pushing hard for that route to be chosen.
"We've entered early negotiations," he said.

"I'll be pushing that very, very hard. Once the pipeline is established don't forget there is a large gas shale deposit in north-west Queensland, straddling the Northern Territory border there, that also can be tapped in."
