There will be lots of new claims for flood damage in Nth Qld. Johns Lyng have a Townsville office and they will be very busy for the next couple of years because of this event. I'm surprised there hasn't been even a slight uptick in the SP or the volume yet. It does not take much flood damage to modern homes built on grade, to require them to be internally stripped out of internal plaster board and re-tiling.
