Announcement 27-Nov-2017: has entered into an agreement with eemagine Medical Imaging Solutions GmbH (“eemagine”) to
deliver design enhancements to the Company’s Mente Autism headband

Under the design agreement with Neurotech, eemagine will look to deliver a number of design
enhancements to Mente Autism, including investigating the feasibility of incorporating proprietary
research grade waveguard TM touch electrodes within the headband, as well as designing the headband
to suit varying age ranges of children from 3 to 12 years old, so that the headband can “grow” with
the child.

As @bloat says, there are issues with the old headband. The redesigned unit will have integrated sensors so there will not be any issues with sensors falling out. We hope also that comfort is a priority. Neurotech will destroy all existing stock and issue no further units until the newly designed unit is available (quarterly report 30-Apr-2018):
This includes improvements to wi-fi connectivity, synchronisation and usability improvements linked to the firmware and the Mente Autism application. ... Obsolete stock valued at approximately A$41,000 will bedecommissioned in anticipation of the release of the updated iteration of the device, which is expected to be available to the market early in H2 CY2018.

I'm satisfied that we're on the front foot addressing design issues so we're ready for production as early as possible.
