I suggest you run the identical charts of NTL on the NZX.

As I recall, the 40mil buy last July was done solely on the NZX, therefore July's hype would not be visible with the history after it on your ASX chart.

I suspect you find a similar glowing green bar there to draw a square around to highlight, which led to capital destruction in nearly no time for many.
