As I walked up further I spotted the clearing known as the "portal pad" which is an area which was built for purpose of mining at Talisman many years ago. The ground was boggy and appeared to be squishy enough to make me believe that it was not just the recent rains that had caused it - is it really a spiritual picnic site, or a boggy old mining area?
