    What have we here - someone has cut the lines from the power poles. Clearly they are old and inoperative at this very moment but it doesn't seem like the wisest thing to do in a spiritual homeland to go around vandalising and cutting potentially deadly electric wires. Protecting Karangahake must involve a lot of danger pay.
