Any stocks I've been in that had a consolidation have had a fall in share price in the short to medium term. It's not necessarily a good thing. Not all consolidations lead to a fall in price, but many do. I'd prefer to see them keep things as they are. Once the company is making money, it won't matter. If it's performing well, people will buy, no matter the number of shares on the board.
