If you're new to options, probably best to stay away. Options can be nasty pieces of work. You'll notice that they are not fairly priced at the moment, have terrible liquidity even when the underlying stock has excellent liquidity. And that only gets worse when the price starts to slide. Troubled times such as this call for safer investment than options i believe.
