"...The cost of dismantling the Fukushima plant may reach 20 trillion yen, and compensation for households in a 20-kilometer evacuation zone may total 630 billion yen over 10 years, according to the Japan Center for Economic Research...."

Dismantling Fukushima "MAY" reach 20 trillion yen which equates to around $US250 billion.

    Japan "DOES" spend :

    $220 billion per/yr on coal
    $160 billion per/yr on oil
    $370 billion per/yr on gas
And the human health costs caused by pollution equates to all the obove combined.

Conclusion : Uranium is a cheap, clean and reliable energy source
