How can nuclear power be considered as a form of clean energy when it produces waste that remains so dangerous for such a long period that no one wants it in their backyard, and some have been said to have dumped it into the oceans with the radioactivity resulting in deleterious consequences for the likes of Somalia and no doubt other poor nations. Also do not forget Chernobyl, accidents do occur, and the results can be devastating.
At least with carbon it recycles cleanly through plants, and when the next major ice age occurs can be converted to coal for future civilizations to use. Radioactive waste, which may be pushed anywhere by glaciers, could create a nightmare for too long into the future for my liking.
