A bunch of Italians claiming cold fusion with a ceramic tube, three phase power and a secret mix of Ni, Li + "others" is one thing, but you wouldn't expect Lockheed to be putting this out there unless they were fairly certain (I know it isn't cold fusion they are claiming, but it might as well be for its size).
The ones bashing it are all people funded by grants, as far as I can see, miffed not only that private enterprise has beaten them, completely out of the blue, but also worried they'll lose their revenue stream.
