in fact, if we get out of this without much more radiation leakage, you could say nuclear power is actually pretty damn safe. It can survive earthquakes tidal waves and power shortages and even beeing 40 years old post its decommission date.
the only radioactivity in the air is from waste material, not the reactors. The media are hyping this big time.
