Who cares,,, It is just another example of how politicians and people worldwide are swinging against nuclear in favour of renewables even though we know that nuclear has the best carbon footprint.

Doesn't make any sense but that is what is happening.

The South Australian election will be of interest. If there are a group of people that should be unhappy with what renewables have done to them it should be the South Australians,, Now with the highest electricity prices in the world.

Queenslanders just voted labor in who were standing on a renewables target of 50%.

South Australians after being given the highest electricity prices in the world should absolutely castrate the state government at the soon to be held election for what they have done to their state through the use of renewables.

But somehow I get the feeling that that won't happen.. What is wrong with people.

Shorten is promising higher renewable targets as well... the only reason these politicians are promising higher renewables is that their polling must show that that is what Australians want.

IMO This renewable bandwagon is around for a while yet,, and an increase in minerals required for electric cars is a certainly.

There are some good Australian companies mining those minerals, including Cobalt and Lithium.. Apparantly some of the big car companies are trying to shore up supply by approaching the mineral companies and offering offtake agreements to buy the minerals while they are still in the ground.
