Yep. The French have a vested interest in reprocessing waste .
Good on them. l applaud their efforts.
They are creating a problem by generating it and they are trying to find a solution . Good on them.
Speaks volumes about the problems with storing the waste, doesn't it ?
My understanding is that reprocessing the waste is very , very expensive . Then there's the security issues of transporting it around the world .
That's why the waste is kept on site where it is under very heavy security.
These problems just make renewables look more appealing .
