So the LNP are still calling for a 'pause' on investment in renewables despite the fact that their 'nuclear plan' would only replace 1/3 of coal power generation, none of the gas power generation & provide nothing to cover the forecast increase in power required.

Are they trying to cause power shortages & blackouts?

Why do they want to waste billions of taxpayers money to keep open coal fired power stations when they could just keep investing in renewables that they even admit Australia will need in the future?

Makes absolutely no sense.
Anyone would think they didn't believe in climate change & they're still hoping the world will wake tomorrow & not need to stop burning fossil fuels!
