The house passed the bill quite easily in the end, 83 to 33 . It will go to the senate Monday according to other reports, the same day as the first of two nuclear plants was to close. The Governor has said he will sign off as soon as possible after that.
Talk about cutting it fine, but it looks like the
fuel reload will not now be diverted to another plant you would think.
Still not a done deal but hopefully some extra fuel purchases can soon go ahead given certainty of future operation.
