I simply meant that I don't fall in with the zeitgeist. I form my own views and the fact that they are very often extremely divergent from every crowd tells me that I'm not being fed my opinions from any external source. While the fact that I've beaten the market reasonably consistently over a very long period of time through both bull and bear markets tells me that I'm not excessively delusional, and that my opinions are better-reasoned than average.
I'm not saying that I'm free from bias on this topic.
