Thanks for pointing this out - gives me more confidence that they are on schedule. Just hoping the separator is also ready for integration. I suspect that whilst the underlying operation was confirmed in the test loop there has been quite a lot of development since particularly on making the components (particularly the laser) more robust and moving from "batch" operation to a continuous process. One of my concerns has always been the scalability and reliability of the high pressure CO2 lasers used in the test loop and the complexity of raman shifting (using parahydrogen) to go from a CO2 laser wavelengths (~10.4 microns) to 16 microns. Hope they have now dropped that and are using more modern (and reliable) technology similar to that used in welding machines.
