As were my posts the other day were namely these ones -ost #: 68341015 , Post #: 68348119 and also this one Post #: 68348233, recycling is now again a hot topic in the US, GEH are part of it and both methods I posted B1 and B2 required Uranium re enrichment, surely the best place for such enrichment of something that would be far more radioactive than normal UF6 should be co located where fuel production happens.
GEH make their nuclear fuel at Wilmington!
Recycled UNF fuel can be used in the Natrium reactors!
The newly advertised position at Wilmington stated that they wanted someone at GLE who could work and liaise with people from other disciplines this part in particular “ The Process Engineer will work in close partnership with engineers and technologists from other disciplines and the GLE staff.”
GLE are in the business of Uranium enrichment and any processing of Uranium235 would have to use an onsite enrichment plant which is co located as close as possible the same site surely?
All IMHO, but it certainly pertains to the Nuclear power related thread even if you can't see it.
