Scagg - I think DoE had revised their views by January 2021 when they allowed the novation of the tails contract to a SLX/Camaeco owned GLE. What I was quoting was the situation in 2016 when ownership was with GEH/Cameco and nothing much was happening. Also at that time Centrus looked better (i.e it was prior to the discontinuance of their AC100 support). IMO the SLX BoD & Cameco earned a lot of credit by continuing development in the face of a dis-interested DoE and a wish to keep Centrus in the game with no doubt a lot of support from Oak Ridge Lab who are rumored to be the lobby who got USEC to drop SLX in 2003/4.
