I think that the other issue which is very relevant to the GLE vs Centrus competition is that the Centrus HALEU demo system uses LEU which will hit the existing supply. The GLE proposal is to use DoE "tails" which will NOT impact existing LEU supply - this may be a major issue plus that GLE is a technology diversification which is important but also with the prospect of giving the US a technology lead over the rest of the world.and the Russians and Chinese in particular.
