Being simple myself, that will come naturally to me. As such, don't trust anything I say or take it as advice one way or the other and ignore my sentiment.
Silex via Gle are currently building a full scale pilot plant in Wilmington. The full program hopes to prove the uranium enrichment tecnology works as well as previous smaller scale testing has indicated it may, and that it is economical. But full scale lasers and the associated equipment are tricky to say the least.
It's planned to be started up sometime in (midish) 2024 and possibly completed in 2024 or 2025. If this program is successfully completed it would be generally considered proven to the point where a reliable decision on a full plant build could be made and finance be sought.
The market around products have improved due to sentiment for nuclear as a combatant for climate change and reaction to the war in Ukraine, but Silex can't proceed to a plant build without success in this pilot plant programe. So to me this is the main thing that I watch.
In addition the US government is considering helping expand uranium enrichment in the US. There are a couple of bills being put through Congress that would help . Silex via Gle are one of the contenders that may benifit from that assistance if it materialises. I also watch this, as it may be a short term driver of share price ( but nothing works long term untill the pilot plant does).

Silex have a couple of side applications to their tecnology in pure silicon for quantum computing and another application in nuclear medicine, also in a silicon chip, but by far the main game is uranium enrichment.
I think the silex website is a very good resource and well worth reading thoroughly if you are investing in Silex. It's worded somewhat like "a Silex for dummies guide" (my favourite book, they even have pictures)
