I really have no idea when the official version is coming out - the bureaucracy appears to take ages. I also guess the evaluation and placement of orders will also take time. At the AGM MG's comment appeared to be that it would be "nice" but GLE really can't hang around for the DoE to make up its minds. Problem is that if GLE gets on a does something the DoE could well turn around and say "well you've done it now - you don't need us" - this is probably the trap[ that Urenco and Oramo may have also fallen into. Centrus appears (and has done so historically) to sit back and tell the DoE that they are the only true "stars and stripes" technology (Don Poneman is well connected) and sits back and waits for the DoE to hand out more shekels. Centrus's problem is their track record which is to both go over budget and over time and hope (usually justified) that the money keeps flowing - given their performances so far one has to hope that the DoE at least would wish to hedge their bets on both companies and also technology (all apart from GLE are centrifuge technology)
