I take a more global view Zog. Energy=prosperity, every country will continue to seek high density energy sources. Countries that don't and for political reasons, seek less dense sources (which are unreliable and expensive), will eventually be dragged back onto the denser path of cheaper and reliable energy sources, because their economies will suffer and their constituents won't tolerate a fall in living standards. The problem with democracies is we have to try all alternatives before we settle on the right system. The electorate isn't universally educated in science, maths and economics and therefore rely on their leaders to direct them. It is only after spending a lot of money on failed schemes that don't render the outcome that voters were told, that voters realise they've been conned, and hence throw out the incumbent Government.I believe this is happening now in Germany as expensive and unreliable energy is destroying industry, the next election should be very enlightening. Reactor restarts in Germany will be another source of demand. As we have seen around the world restarts and prolongation has an immediate impact on fuel demand, but this industry operates on very long scales and Germany's elections aren't till 2025 i think, and there will be problems of staffing, refurbishment and licensing etc added to add to the timeline, but fuel buyers will need to cover the demand.
Since I started investing in the industry, I have always considered it a very good bet, but we need to view it on a long time scale. Silex is my favourite because it has so many tentacles, the three PLEF are supported not only by market forces but also security forces, both of which touch on our primal fear of survival. I believe the US has woken up, noted its vulnerability and will rectify the fuel supply for nuclear energy and GLE must be in that solution.
As for Australia, its only our wealth from mining that is giving us a cushion in the form of subsidies that allows us to pursue these bad renewable policies, but the electorate will wake up to the con job, eventually. Oppositions don't win elections , Governments lose elections, and Albo and his mates are doing everything they can to lose the next one. I believe 2024 will be a tough economic period and the Government's popularity will wane more.
