So do only "scientists" know these things? And what is a "scientist"? a millenniel graduate from an indoctrinating university? ONE WHERE USING FEMININE AND MASCULINE PRONOUNS CAUSES ONE TO FAIL? Does oxygen and nitrogen not act similarly? "Greenhouse effect" is named because radiation from high temp sources (i.e. the sun) passes through glass more easily than radiation from low temp sources. The process you fanatics describe as "greenhouse" is an insulting dumbing down of this process. If the gas absorbs heat on its way down, then re emits it , I don't see any "extra" heat in the process.
