William - you have to realize that GLE was NOT controlled by SLX from 2006 to 2021 and that during the period from 2014 to 2021 they did get rid of the "rabbit holes" they had engaged in during the period GEH were in control and also plough their own path during that 2014/21 period (in Lucas Heights) . Also prior to 2006 it was USEC (now Centrus) that ran to uranium enrichment technology from about 1997 to 2003 - during the period 2003 to 2006 SLX got the technology back and did focus on it for those 3 years and did work with Suminoto of separation of 28Si (which was abandoned due to there not being a business case). Really think you are being a bit unfair on MG but I also think he learnt a lesson from the exploits into data logging, cREO and solar during the period they were not in control of Uranium enrichment. If a fraction of Moosey's "rabbit holes" had been adopted we would definitely have been "pear shaped" many years ago. Something you really have to realize is that commercializing advanced technology (particularly nuclear with its astronomical and bureaucratic regulation) is a difficult, expensive and problematic - it takes time (and money)
