The part I find hard to fathom is that GLE have, applied for part of the IRA act , some of which is due 2024, GLE already have a large permanent work force at Wilmington, I personally think they may have been producing there at Wilmington?
Now if GLE had some HALEU for sale because HALEU is what is required not LEU, unless they are providing another enricher with LEU to make HALEU, just where would the LEU come from to make HALEU (is Wilmington capable of making enough LEU to make enough HALEU, because it appears that is what the IRA is about?
Now lets look at GEH and what they are doing (aren't they looking at recycling UNF , isn't one component LEU wasn't that why GEH hired GLE or should I say SILEX, didn't GEH hire them for exactly that purpose in the first place, doesn't the SILEX process target only one Isotope ? in this case it may be U235 and that's all?
The U235 would require conversion and de-conversion if they were to further use it as fuel and maybe that is why the are hiring someone at Wilmington just for that purpose, it would be pretty hot still having removed the nastier stuff.
Would not recovered Uranium be useful in making HALEU
