Lucas Heights is where R&D done and the first prototypes are built and any new lasers are built same as Uranium lasers are and the sent to where they are needed from my understanding, it will need irradiated material, could be wrong ? but ,why else are they setting up a permanent workforce at Wilmington and what is this new manufacturing center at Wilmington for?
Yes ANSTO do produce medical isotopes here not the same though,but it comes from irradiated material in the OPAL reactor is my understanding !
I still reckon there is lots of stuff we are not privy to about Wilmington!
I think it may come under the secrecy act!
