If you agree .... why are you suggesting that Tasmania's hydro power ( works in Tasmania but no where else) or roof top solar output ( works when the sun shines but not as night ) are feasible alternatives ? if we don't start planning for nuclear power now it will never happen !! As to cost ..... are you an environmentalist or an economist ? Snowy 2.0 will cost more than an equivalent Sized Nuclear power station. ... Nuclear power might have a higher risk in the Ukraine but not in Australia. The question is .... do u want low carbon base load power for the future ? in order to plan for Australia's future we need to be committed to building nuclear power stations whatever form .... NOW ....
