What rot. Weather is roughly predictable days in advance as are peaks.
The paradox with renewables is that, even if they are still cheap when all sneaky subsidies (cost of disposal, cost of transmission etc et al) they require something to provide base load power as we know (some of us know). But if the cost of this more reliable power is spread over just a few hours it is artificially made to look more costly.
