With a capacity factor ~35% for wind and ~25% for solar (with a guarantee that it's not going to work at night and also producing when the wind is also blowing) this was a pretty obvious conclusion. The turn around thermal efficient for green H2 is only about 30% and that's not including what leaks *about 20%) and the energy to either pressurize (15%) or liquefy/regassify it. Then if you want to send it to Germany (from the Pilbara) iy's also not very green if you taking into account the bunker oil used to transport it and keep it at -252C for the journey. In IMO a crazy idea that only Sewie or Bowen could buy! At least Twiggy is not a fool with his own money (only the tax payer loses from subsidies)
