No CO2 produced, just hydrogen and graphite. Research turquoise hydrogen. There are a number of different players developing the technology. The current method of producing hydrogen is called steam methane reforming which produces around 10 tons of CO2 for every ton of hydrogen produced, whereas turquoise hydrogen captures all the carbon as solid graphite (no CO2 storage required).
