    New technologies are bound to have some expensive failures and nuclear plants are no exception.
    Private investors won't fund nuclear plants so they have to be funded by taxpayers via their governments. Additionally no one will insure nuclear plants so accidents also become government responsibility for any payouts. Private investment know renewables are getting cheaper while nuclear is getting dearer.
