The public is being gouged to fund renewables and the economy is crumbling under the pressure. People have to go without food or power to make ends meet. When average members of the working public suffer brown-outs and homelessness it will be game over for renewables and the green dream. It looks like we'll get there well before 2030.
It's an inconvenient truth for you Sewie but nuclear is the only abundant, carbon free and affordable source of power.
Can't wait for the next election.
Oh and I will happily invest in nuclear plants in Australia when we get them. I suspect there will be a few more here that will too when they get a chance.
