The North Carolina Community College system is one of the largest of its kind in the US. There are currently 58 Community Colleges throughout the great state of North Carolina. Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) mentioned in this post is one of the largest community colleges in North Carolina. And it’s nuclear technology offerings have been in place over 20 years now. Agree with the GLE leadership. Local community colleges are good places to start building workforce development relationships for North Carolina nuclear energy industry participants.
