Can you also tell be what renewable projects can operate without subsidies? The problem is that both are in the same context. Currently the CIS (see HERE) consider that renewable subsidies in Australia total A$29Bn to 2023 and have no conceivable end given the unobtainable 82% renewable target for 2030 - this also assumes as (sunk costs) the blow out in Snowy hydro 2 (including"Florence" the lost tunneling machine that may emerge sometime). St least Twiggy, Origin and WDS have had a "come to Jesus" moment on Green Hydrogen that is not only uneconomic (and not very "green" once it gets to Germany) but also produces very greenhouse intensive Nitrous Oxide (NOx) emissions - so much for the "Hydrogen superpower" and more wasted subsidies.
