Hey M, I'm guessing that going by Gle's article from last week that said basicly they "are doing some final systems shakedowns" and "So we're undergoing some system checks before we actually turn the lasers on to proceed with demonstration of enrichment capabilities” , that they are still commissioning as of around ten days ago.
That, to me is the reason why we have not received word that the enrichment testing has commenced.
Yeah, the other stuff like the extra lease may not be announcement worthy but helps put the puzzle together somewhat. (Though the hard core members here with a fondness for yum cha usually get them up on hc pretty quick).
August 29, silex seemed to indicate that comissioning was complete. Then October 1 in the shaw and partners interview it seemed to me that it was walked back to commissioning almost complete.
Now Nima from Gle says "final systems shake downs". That maybe a current trendy engineering w word for we are operating the system, optimising, tuning, finding and correcting problems now before we start the process proper.
I'm guessing that commissioning has taken a bit longer than hoped, but the words "final" and "almost complete" indicate to me its starting soon
(although i wish someone would mention to Nima that the term "shakedown" has a different meaning outside engineering circles, especially in finance and politics).
