Nuclear power is the worst option for Australia. For 1 it is the No 1 most expensive form of electricity generation and this idea of the opposition government touting small nuclear power stations is a nonsense that they haven't costed (no surprise there) and simply a way of drawing attention away from renewable energy which is clearly the front runner as wind and solar with battery storage is the No 1 cheapest form of power generation. You can fact check that online. If you disagree please post your source and back it up. I'm quoting the data from the international energy agencies. Also the top 6 or 7 most expensive countries for electricity on earth are countries that have Nuclear power. Are you starting to get it now? (France Germany Belgium etc)
Also all this nuclear energy comes with massive government subsidies yet despite this it is still the most expensive power in the world. Again I have fact checked this. By the way, small nuclear power plants are simply not viable and French nuclear giant EdF has scrapped plans to even consider building them because they actually costed them unlike the clowns in the Australian opposition government.
