Started reading the latest CSIRO GenCost report. just about threw my computer out the window when I got to the bit which stated that even though the US enjoys 93% capacity rates from nuclear, and GenCost agrees globally that capacity rates in the 90's are possible with Nuclear, they have chosen to use Coal plant capacity rates to evaluate Nuclear.... couldn't make this sh*t up...
