I was watching this YouTube video on Copenhagen Atomics development of molten salt/thorium reactors. From the 6:30 mark the presenter describes the steps to improve the process, and one of the steps is the use of very high purity (99.999%) Lithium 7. I was wondering if this is something the Silex process could be used for? Or is the 7Li isotope too light and/or the stimulation wavelength outside the range of the lasers being used?
