I'm here - be patient some of us have other things to attend to.
Well last night was interesting in regard to the number of people there - MG called it "an ambush". Evidently he we over here in Perth to meet up with fund managers but to also be at a presentation on Wednesday on Rottnest Island (beautiful spot) - it was the first time I have met up with MG and Craig Roy in person. The presentation was much as in their announcement of 21/2 (see HERE) and still quoted the statement "Commencement of full (TRL-6) enrichment testing in GLE’s Test Loop pilot demonstration facility imminent". In questions MG was asked to provide a bit more detail to the word "imminent" and how this related to the problem reported by SLX to the NRC. MG said he could not provide further detail but that the NRC reported problem turned was a false alarm and of no consequence.
MG was then asked how the zero spin Si project was proceeding particularly in regard to ASP Isotopes claiming to be in production soon. MG said that he did not wish to comment on competitors but that their project (for 20kg/year) of Zero spin Si was still on track for delivery this year. He said that the current price of ZS Si (from the Russians) was US500k/Kg and in the presentation he emphasized that they would be producing Silane as well as elemental product. Afterwards he was asked how the purity of the SLX product (99.998%) compared to the Russians and he said that they provided 99.992% and that difference was important to the customer.
There was a question about what holding MG had in the company (about 3%)
Question about "noted that the environmental submission to the NRC was submitted in Dec 2024" - MG said that this was only the preliminary environmental submission and more may be required. Also asked about the safety submission to the NRC to be provided in mid 2025 and why it took so long given that MG had commented previously that it was a "cut and paste" from 2013. MG replied that it was significantly a "cut and paste" but that NRC rules had changed since 2014 and thus their was a significant update due to those rule changes and in particular "criticality" issues needed to be addressed.
MG emphasized that he did not wish to get drawn into comment about about competitors (e.g LIS technology or ASP Isotopes) but did comment that their (I presume LIS Technology) was at an early stage of development.
Afterward i asked Craig Roy if they were submitting on 13/3/25 for the DoE funding for innovative nuclear fuel technologies he said yes they were and that as far as he was aware the funding had not been stopped by the current Trump administration. It was stated by MG in the presentation that this funding was provided by congress (not the president) and needed congress (on a bipartisan motion) to withdraw that funding (IMO the president could however delay it).
There may have been other questions in which case could others at the meeting please provide further comment.
