Modern nuclear power plants stand up to a 747 being crashed into to it. Meanwhile solar panels and wind farms are blown away in a puff of wind.
Imagine how easy it would be to crush a solar / wind powered country in a war. All that high tech sensing and kinetic military equipment relies on a safe reliable supply of power.
