As a scientist/engineer/logical thinker you will be aware that the atmosphere is an enclosed vessel and it doesn't matter what the per capita is it is the absolute amounts that make the difference.
ie. If there were a 100 smokers in a room with closed doors, 30 of them would be Chinese,11 from the States, 8 from India and there would be one Australian.
Then you get people like Sewie and Adam Bandt yelling and screaming at the Australian to give up the ciggies, whilst completely ignoring the real culprits.
