The so called deal with Gates is worth absolutely zero. look at the terms of the deal. Gates is only covering all bases just in case.
ASP are not licensed in the highly regulated uranium space. It has to do with international treaties relating to no proliferation. ASP is or was a defunct South African outfit cottoned onto by some highly suspicious nobodies and have been accused of committing a huge fraud see

They are not on the DOE's list of 6 that have been selected under the $3.4 billion LEU RFP. see

Gates requires HALEU and there is only 1 company currently able to supply very limited amounts and that is Centrus. SLX can and will produce HALEU when they determine there is a market for it. Up until now Russia was the only country producing it.
