Yes they (Fuzzy Bear) are shorters but references to industry views (Centrus, Silex et al) are accurate; the ASPI technology is:

    a) Aerodynamic separation - energy intensive and only suitable for lower atomic weight isotopes. Even then the separation efficiency is not good and unlikely to obtain the purities (at least for Zero Spin Si) that are desired for quantum computing (i.e 99.998 28Si carries a premium (Russians are 99.993%)). The ASPI aspiration for separation (Aerodynamic) in Iceland carries a message - high electricity requirements - see HERE)

    b) For Yb and U the use of AVLIS technology has (in the past) proved to be uneconomic with its low throughput and corrosion issues (at least for uranium) - it's South African origins also do not help (Africans (Boer) refugees) in Republican circles including suspected poor regulative oversight South Africa with a 31% trump "liberation day" tariff.

Also the ASPI CEO and Chairman (Paul Mann) is a "money man" and acknowledges that he does not have access to ASPI secrets (since he is NOT a South African citizen - he is a UK citizen)
