Dutton pushed back nuclear energy in Australia in two ways:
1. Not getting elected and with that mug never would
2. Ridiculous gambit of 7 with pathetic follow up, just played into the liars.
He could have announced sweeping regulatory agenda to enable nuclear, and focus on getting a pilot SMR project underway. That would have been enough to initiate a proper debate without Liars being able to scare largely "uneducated on nuclear" electorate with shoddy costings and disinformation.
