What I found interesting about the video was:were state

1. It was not a glossy ad but what appeared to be genuine Centrus employees talking about their technology and perceived position. I have worked extensively in the USA and fully understand their myopic focus on it being "all American" but as you say they are also very aware of the need to "hedge" their bets on technology.

2. When he was talking about Centrus position he stated that three of the (six) competitors had centrifuge solutions but the the other two (apart from Centrus) were state corporations (e.g Urenco and Orano) but that the other three (LIS Tech, General Matters and ourselves (GLE)) had alternative technology which whilst possibly viable was unproven. This is no doubt true and (whilst unsaid) of those three we (GLE) is clearly the most mature (we are ~TRL/6 whilst LIST is TRL/4) but the clear implication is that General Matters (also selected for HALEU) who have been in "stealth mode on technology) must also NOT be centrifuge (and this likely to also be laser based but embryonic). To me this implies two possibilities (assuming that General matter is thus laser):

1) they have done a deal with ASPI isotopes - you will see from my previous posts that I have a low regard for their technology which IMO are unlikely to be competitive with GLE)

or

2) General Matters have done a deal with GLE (as exclusive licensee of Silex technology) for an "all American" sub-license of our Silex technology; this would be interesting since SLX would still get it's license fees and no doubt a slice of the HALEU action

It's just me speculating off the top of my head but an intriguing possibility but probably just a "rabbit". It will be interesting to find out what the underlying technology is for General Matters when they choose to reveal it (there are influential people behind their bid - that's what really matters in the USA)
